How to stop LinkedIn using your data to train its generative AI

This only applies if you are in the EU. For EU residents, this is disabled by default.

Step 1

After logging in to LinkedIn, click one your photo and from the drop down select “Settings and Privacy”

Step 2

Select ‘Data Privacy’ on the menu on the left:

Step 3

Click on ‘Data for Generative AI improvement” and click the slider.

As an additional step, you can click on Back and select “Social, Economic & workplace research” and click on that slider too.
