Verizon released the 15th edition of their Data Breach Investigation Report (DBIR). This has slowly become a de-facto industry report used by cybersecurity professionals for their analysis.
In summary, ransomware saw a huge increase (as expected).
In 2022, 82% of breaches involved the human element.
There is a lot to be unpacked from this report.

RSA Conference 2022
The year’s biggest security conference is in progress in the USA. If you are not there physically (like me), then you should definitely follow what is being discussed there.
